The Hondo Haus is a comfortable industrial cottage. Its great for a couple or two. We are dog friendly so you can bring your fur baby (or 2) if you like. Unwind after exploring the Three Sisters and other twisty Texas Hill Country roads. The Hondo Haus is just 30 miles south of Bandera or 35 miles west of San Antonio.

Both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable king beds, smart TVs, ceiling fans, lighting, robes & connecting bathrooms.

Both bathrooms have Bath and Body Works hand soap, bath gel and lotion. There is shampoo and conditioner along with hair dryers.

The kitchen is fully equipped for any length of stay. There are dishes and silverware service for four. There is a variety of glassware available such as wine, margaritas, beer, coffee, juice, water. Dishwasher pods are in a glass jar on the counter.

The living room has a comfortable electric, leather theater style recliner for two along with two additional chairs. There is a smart tv to watch.

The outside space is fully fenced and has a gas fire pit, chairs, gas grill, table, dining chairs with cushions & an umbrella. It is a great area to kick back with a drink and relive the day's adventures before turning in for the night.

About the Owner

Trudy is a former school teacher and Mike is an Air Force retiree. We are ready to travel the lower 48 after living in Alaska since 2002. We enjoy riding our Harleys, travel of all kinds, shooting, hunting, volunteering at state parks, genealogy and spending time with family.

Both bathrooms have a shower tub combo, toilet and sink. The bathrooms are supplied with Bath and Body Works hand soap, shower gel and body lotion. There are hair products as well as a hair dryers. The bathrooms are finished off with soft, fluffy, white towels (that evoke the feeling of a luxurious spa), and bath mats.

The highlights of these bedrooms are the wrought iron beds (made in the USA) with super comfortable king mattresses. The have premium bedding from Linen-N-More in Fredericksburg. Lamps and side tables accent the bed. There is a smart tv mounted to the wall above a console in both rooms. There are two soft, comfortable robes hanging in each closet. The rooms both have overhead lights and ceiling fans. The windows are covered with privacy blinds. There is an Alexa Dot in the room for music.
